Q&A with Miguel

What’s your position with the city, and how long have you been in that role?

I currently serve as the Public Works Superintendent and have been with the city for 25 years.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?

A very interesting fact about me is that I have 26 aunts/uncles.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Granting my kids wishes by taking them anywhere they want. In my down time I love working on home projects.

What do you like about working for the City of Spring Valley Village?

The small setting of the city and my co-workers being like my extended family.

What would you be doing if you weren’t working here?

If I did not start working [at Spring Valley Village] at such an early age in my career I would have attended the police academy.

If you could share one thing with the residents of Spring Valley Village, what would it be?

That the residents are my priority and I am always available to address any concerns.

Thanks to Miguel for his years of service and for all he does to keep Spring Valley Village running smoothly!
